Hi, my name is Paula Cummings, I am engaged to the most amazing man I could ask for, mother to three beautiful girls and step-mum to an adorable little boy.

I have always been different. When I was 16, I found Rich Dad Poor Dad, by Robert Kiyosaki on my dad’s bookshelf and knew from that point forward I wanted something different for my life. I wanted to be my own boss.

So, over the following years I tried many different types of businesses but none of them seemed quite right and none of them succeeded.

One day, whilst feeding my third daughter when she was a few months old, I thought how cool would it be to design eco-friendly baby clothes with positive quotes on them. After some research and full support from my fiancé, I found it was easier than I thought it would be and went for it.

Unfortunately, selling the bamboo suits wasn’t quite so easy as marketing doesn’t come easily to me. After months of no success and then having a 6 month break from it all, a family member suggested I sell baby hampers with my baby suits in them. That was the missing key! Since then, my business has really taken off.

I focus on creating hampers and gift boxes that have other eco-friendly products alongside my bamboo suits. A lot of love and care goes into my hampers and gift boxes because I just love babies and believe they deserve a gift that is as special as they are.

I am lucky enough to have a very supportive family and gorgeous daughters who love helping me with my business. I am also grateful to be a part of Spotz and be alongside other amazing Australian mums who are being brave and courageous enough to follow their dream!
